The companys journey to success began with an entrepreneur who saw an unfulfilled niche in the market place. In our case, it all started with company founder and present CEO Mr. Anthony Fortunato, on a street called St.George. "Start spreading the news!" 1984: New York, New York The first St. George Warehouse. The formula for success was simple. Superior customer service, leading edge technology, combined with outstanding rates. By the end of 1984, STG had increased its earning net income by over 400% while at the same time increasing its customer base by 200%. This astounding growth convinced management to move operations to a location with more warehouse space. 1985: South Kearny, New Jersey STG opens New Jersey warehouse As St. George continued to experience phenomenal growth in the East, management made the strategic decision to capitalize on the immense import and export traffic coming into the west coast. 1989: Rancho Dominguez, CA STG opens Los Angeles warehouse "We love L.A.!" Within their first year, St. George Warehouse, Los Angeles tripled their C.F.S. volume and rises to become one of the top 3 C.F.S. stations in the state of California. Expansion By the early 1990s, St. George Warehouse, Los Angeles was moving over 350 containers a week. With this continual increase in business came steady expansion across the United States. 2004: Oakland, California STG opens Oakland warehouse 1999: Chicago, Illinois STG opens Chicago warehouse 1995: Atlanta, Georgia STG opens Atlanta warehouse 1996: Houston, Texas STG opens Houston warehouse 1997: Dallas, Texas STG opens Dallas warehouse 1998: Charleston, South Carolina STG opens Charleston warehouse 1998: Los Angeles, California STG opens L.A. Distribution Facility Today, St. George Warehouse independently operates 8 locations and is affiliated with 63 customs bonded facilities across the United States. Expansion is expected to be steady in the coming years as more regions throughout the United States require the services of St. George Warehouse.
